Grant Hughes

Grant Hughes is a New Zealand artist living on the very beautiful East cape of the north island in the city of Napier .Grant was borne in Gisborne but extensively travelled the world in his 20’s . After returning home he realized the beauty of the region. this inspired him to stay and paint the natural beauty.  Grant is a self-taught artist and has been painting in oils since the age of 9 year old in a realism style. As a teenager was very involved in the local artist community and had a lot of help and mentoring from some of New Zealand’s great artists.
